Dispute Resolution
ComReg has today made a final determination the dispute between Hutchinson 3G Ireland Limited (HG31) and Tesco Mobile Ireland Limited and Tesco Mobile Ireland (TMI) regarding alleged failure by TMI to negotiate interconnection by virtue of an alleged failure to negotiated Mobile Termination Rates (MTRs) for the provision for mobile voice call termination services.
In summary, the determination sets out that the revised MTRs proposed by TMI to H3GI and ComReg on 27 Novermber 2009, effective from 1 December 2009, are consistent with the price necessary to resolve this dispute. These MTRs have been implemented by TMI on a voluntary basis and, unless they are wiithdrawn, no further regulatory intervention is necessary to resolve this dispute.
